Are you ready for our destination today? We are now going to the Lion City - Singapore! Ok, as my husband and I decided to spend few days in Singapore before going to Philippines for vacation, I prepared our travel plans which I posted in my previous post.

We left Abu dhabi through Etihad airways on a Thursday night and reach Singapore Friday at 10 in the morning. It was a straight 7 hours and 45 minutes flight. 



DAY 1 – March 18, Friday (10:05 AM) – Singapore arrival
In walking out from airport going to MRT station, you may follow the direction clearly posted in the hallway or you may ask for assistance to any airport staff.

You should buy MRT card (Tourist pass card). This is very helpful in MRT and other public transportation. YOu may visit the link to know more about it.

  • Hotel Check-in 11:30 AM

Alive Museum
  • 4:30 – Walk going to Suntec City Mall (3rd Level) – Alive Museum











  • 7:00 – Roam nearby places and dinner
  • 9:00 – Back to Hotel




DAY 2 – March 19 
  • 7:00-830 – Wake up, Prepare and breakfast
  • 8:30 – Travel to Resorts World Sentosa
    • By Cable car (SGD 29x2= SGD 58.00) - Bugis (Blue line) – Little India – Harbourfront (Purple Line) –Exit B toward Harbourfront Centre. Cross the Link bridge (bedside KFC) to get to cable car station at Harbourfront Tower Two.
    • Sentosa Express (SGD4x2= SGD 8.00)- Bugis (Blue line) – Little India – Harbourfront (Purple Line) –walk to 3rd level of VivoCity shopping mall, transfer onto our Sentosa Express
    • By taxi – it will cost around SGD15+ using standard taxi. (Yep, we used taxi!)
  • 10:00 - Universal Studios (SGD74x2= SGD148.00)

Trick Eye Museum
  • 3:00 – Trick Eye Museum (SGD25x2= SGD50.00)














China Town
  • 5:00 – China town
    • MRT - Harbourfront (Purple line) - Chinatown 
    • Chinatown Street Market + street food



  • 9:00 – Back to Hotel

DAY 3 – March 20 
  • 7:00-830 – Wake up, Prepare and breakfast
  • 8:30 – Merlion Park 
    • Bugis MRT (Green Line) – Raffles Place Station - Exit towards United Overseas Bank Plaza and from the middle of the plaza; you'll see the Fullerton Hotel. Merlion Park is just right behind it.
    • By taxi – it will cost around SGD10+ using standard taxi. (Yep, taxi again!)
    • Stroll + Lunch

  • 1:00 – Back to hotel to rest by MRT
    • Bugis MRT (Green Line) – Raffles Place Station - Exit towards United Overseas Bank Plaza and from the middle of the plaza; you'll see the Fullerton Hotel. Merlion Park is just right behind it.
  • 4:30 – Singapore Flyers at Raffles Avenue (SGD33x2= SGD66.00)
    • Take taxi from Hotel (Around SGD5+)
    • 5:30 – Singapore Food trail (Walking Distance from Singapore Flyer)
    • 6:30 – Stroll

  • 7:30 – Gardens by the Bay 
    • Take taxi from Singapore Flyer (Around SGD5+)

  • 9:00 Bugis Street
    • Take taxi going to hotel (SGD 5+)
    • Stroll
  • 10:00 – Back to Hotel – prepare all luggage 

DAY 4 – March 21 
  • 6:00-7:00 – Wake up, prepare and breakfast
  • 7:15 – Travel to Airport by taxi (SGD20)
  • 10:30 - Flight going to Philippines (Cebu Pacific)
